One to Watch – “Bob’s Burgers”
Bob’s Burgers was last season’s highest-rated new scripted series premiere on any network. Loren Bouchard (Home Movies, Dr. Katz) has created another animated show that at it’s heart is about character. Bob, his wife, Linda and their 3 kids are trying to run a burger business. But that’s just the set-up for some very funny lines, and some inappropriate humor. Hearing his daughter say, “I already picked a corner for the bathroom. That one, where I went.”, or his son, Gene say, “My grandparents are staying with us and they were both alive during prohibition so this is what it sounds like when they have sex in the room next to mine.” will make you put your Tivo’s reverse in over-drive, wondering if you really heard what you thought you did. H. Jon Benjamin, as the voice of Bob really drives this show, as he does on most other shows he’s on. Does this guy have the best voice in television, or what? Check it out HERE
