“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.”

Walt Disney said that, and he was God-damned right.  I remember seeing Ralph Bakshi’s Coonskin for the first time.  It was the first R-rated movie I had ever seen.  And it was a cartoon.  Adult animation has been the counter-culture of the animation scene.  I’m here to tell you, my friends, that adult animation is still alive and kicking, Mary & Max, Persepolis, Aqua Teen Hunger Force,  and lots others show that some adults never grow up, but their cartoons do.  MinorJoy Studios was created to design animation that doesn’t fit into a pg-13 world.  This site show-cases some of the artwork, and writing that I’m doing, while chronicling my latest projects.  I live in Marietta, GA with my wife, Brandy, and daughter, Isabella.  They continue to tolerate my behavior.
